How Classes Work :Β
1. Warmup: We kick things off with a targeted warmup to prepare the relevant muscle groups for the movements ahead, promoting flexibility and preventing injury.
2. Explanation: Delving into the intricacies of each movement, we provide comprehensive explanations accompanied by visual demonstrations, clarifying the rules and techniques involved.
3. Skill Development: This phase is dedicated to honing the specific skills required to execute the technique and biomechanics effectively. Through tailored exercises and drills, students strengthen their core competencies and refine their technique.
4. Implementation: Putting theory into practice, students integrate the learned techniques seamlessly into their movements, fostering fluidity and precision on the dance floor.
5. Feedback and Assessment: We believe in the power of constructive feedback to fuel growth. Our instructors provide personalized assessments, offering insights into individual progress and highlighting areas for improvement.
6. Homework: The learning doesn’t end when class does. We assign targeted exercises and drills for students to practice outside of class, reinforcing learning and fostering continuous improvement.

Who is This Program For?
1) Social Dancers (the βI just want to feel GOOD dancingβ crew):
If you want cleaner basics, more confidence, better balance, and movement that actually works in real social dancing, this is for you. We train technique + biomechanics + aesthetics + safety so you can dance longer, smoother, and with way more control.
How we apply it: what you learn on Saturday gets implemented that same week (or month) when you go out dancing β and you track your progress.
2) Performers (stage polish, not just repetition):
If youβre building performance skills, this is your foundation. Rehearsing choreography alone wonβt fix lines, feet, control, or stamina. SBB trains the body so your performance looks expensive: cleaner feet, better turns, stronger core/back control, and more intentional styling.
Key add-ons: Wednesdays are huge for performers β Leg & Feet Technique in Heels (9:00 am) + Barre al Piso (6:00 pm).
3) Competitors (strategy > intensity):
Competition training needs a plan β not βmore practice until you collapse.β Competitors are encouraged to request a strategy with Gaby based on how soon you compete and what your video shows you need most.
We train you to be strategic: more focused training days, smarter conditioning, and skill priorities that make rehearsal look better.
4) Teachers & Schools (you lead the vision, we build the technique):
If you run a school or lead students, SBB can be your technique department. You handle choreography and direction β we coach your dancers in technique, conditioning, and training strategy.
Bonus: schools can offer the program to students without needing extra studio space, and teachers can earn by selling the program.
5) Beginners (if you want the βright foundationβ from day one):
If youβre new and you want safe, clear fundamentalsβwithout guessing from random tutorialsβSBB gives you structure: posture, weight transfer, feet and legs, turns, and body awareness. Youβll build technique you can actually use socially (and later for performance/competition if you choose).
Who SBB is NOT For
Dancers who only want choreography / combos / βnew movesβ:
SBB is not a choreography library. We focus on technique, body mechanics, biomechanics, functionality, aesthetics, and safety so you can execute any choreography (and social dance) betterβwithout relying on copying.
