Our season will last seven months, and it will be packed full of fun and learning. 🤗😊
We’ll spend the first two months learning the routine 🤔, then the next month doing some cleaning and making adjustments 🧹. We’ll spend another month creating formation plans 📝, and the remaining three months performing and cleaning or tweaking after each show. 🎭
Throughout this time, we’ll need to attend tech training and feedback sessions 🤓 and do our rehearsals 💃, so let’s make sure to stay on top of that and make the most of this experience! 🤩
Your weeks will look something like this:
💃 Weekly 90-120 minute meetings with Director Gabriela Equiz for technique class.
📹 Spend a minimum of 2 hours per week rehearsing from the videos. (Optional weekly live classes will be available where you can go over the routine and rehearse with members of your team from all around the world).
🎬 Weekly 2 hour feedback and review session with Directors Luis Mujica and Gabriela Equiz.
🎭 A minimum of 6 performances per season. Opportunities to perform with your worldwide team or as a solo artist at local, national, or international festivals will be provided.
You will have optional and mandatory classes.

🗣 We want to make sure that our performances are the best they can be, so before you hit the stage at any local events or join the team for national or international events, we’ll need you to get the green light from Directors Luis and Gabriela. ✅ They’ll be able to let you know if you’re ready to take the next step and shine on stage. ✨
Also, in order to maintain high standard of performance, it’s crucial to attend regularly at trainings and feedback and rehearsal sessions, aiming for a 85% attendance or above. 🚀
If you wish to perform with the team at a national or international event, you’ll need to reserve your spot at least two months in advance to allow us to incorporate you into the formation and choreography. 🌟
Sure thing! 🌟 Performing solo is definitely an option. Alma Latina Team choreographies are designed to be flexible and work for solo. 🕺💃
Our new weekly check-ins will make everything run smoothly and help keep stress levels low. 🙌 Plus, it’s a great way to make sure that all of our approved dancers, no matter where they’re from, are on the same page when it comes to performing the same choreography at events. ✅ It’s all about staying organized and making sure everyone’s on the same team! 🤝
Monthly Fees:
💃 Solo teams (male or female): $80
💰 Fees for participation on the team will be due at the beginning of each month. A 5% late fee will be applied after the 5th of the month.
Mandatory technique class is $29.99 a month, but if you’re a member of Alma Latina Teams, you’re in luck! ✨ We are offering you a 20% discount off your technique class payment! That brings your total down to a super affordable $24 a month. 👌 And if you’re really looking to save, ask Gabriela about our technique class scholarships which you can earn in exchange for work! 💰
👕 Uniforms
You’ll be required to wear a uniform in all of your submitted videos and live classes. You’ll be able to purchase our uniform on our website and it will be shipped to your home. 📦

👗 Costumes
Your individual costume will be sent to your home, and your measurements will be taken at the beginning of the season. Partial payment will be collected in the middle of the first month, the rest in the middle of the third month before shipping. 💰
